Nokia Lumia Review

Nokia Lumia Review

The Operating System is Windows Phone 7.5 popularly known as Mango and is performing flawlessly in this hardware configuration.

It is a premium smart phone running WP 7.5 It consists of Windows Phone Mango devices and it is making a strong and vivid impression. The pricing is very nice and competitive for a smart phone and if one compare with its competitor, Lumia stands much cheaper in terms of pricing. This is surprising as this is a Windows Mobile OS loaded phone, but the marketing tenacity of both Microsoft and Nokia seems to drive new pricing competitions in the existing players. As per the latest news this phone has further price reduction. With the mango Operating System updates the phone carries a smooth navigation and terrific functionalities and some of the few unique function is capable of serving various multi tasking process easier.

I prefer this smartphone device because

·        It is thicker and the build quality has a premium feel attach to it.

·        No unibody design, but more conventional one.

·        Battery can be accessible through back panels.

·        Three hardware keys –Return, Windows, Search.

·        Choice of two colors for the phone, black and white but you can get a hell lot of colors for the back panel at the battery.

·        5MP camera on the flip side of the phone.

·        Camera flash at the top of the phone.

·        Hands free at the bottom.

·        The volume and the camera keys are at the right panel.

·        The 3.5mm headphone jack at the top along with the power key and the micro USB slot.

·        The surface of the phone uses the high class plastic with no depression and irregular surface.

·        Hardware specification: Qualcomm MSM8255, Snapdragon processor clocking at 1.4GHz and is paired with 512MB RSM.

·        The Operating System is Windows Phone 7.5 popularly known as Mango and is performing flawlessly in this hardware configuration.

·        The display of Lumia is LCD, a simple one, with AMOLFED display on Gorilla Glass as a prominent attribute or aspect.

·        Text clearly defined and good to view while browsing

·        The user interface is Metro UI, just look through on the right to reach to different applications. You can vertically scroll through all the applications.

(Courtsey)

·        Limited options for personalization of user interface

·        The 5MP camera takes decent images in bright light, but noisy images while at dark. It has the ability to take 729p high definition images but performance wise for high definition images it is average.

·        Microsoft Zune feature built in it. The presentation of the music inside this device is delighting the senses or exciting intellectual or emotional admiration.

·        Under medium to heavy usage the battery will drain out within a day and it is surprisingly not stronger. As per the latest reports to be believed, Nokia and Microsoft are now cal back these batteries and placing stronger life batteries. It is really a good adjustment and meeting to customer satisfactions.

·        Considering the Windows Phone 7 in Lumia , this device is actually a lot more cheaper and it is neck to neck in terms of performance against it market competitor Samsung Omnia W.

·        I prefer this smartphone device than it s competitor Samsung because of design, brand, color and all other mentions aspects above.
